Bournemouth nightlife is separated into two distinct bar and club areas, we have The Old Christchurch Road Area which has a long strip of bars, pubs and restaurants of all descriptions. It is the epicentre of Bournemouth nightlife for the young and also the larger groups in fancy dress on their traditional Stag & Hen weekends. It is a lively part of town with many fast food operations and serves the younger side of Bournemouth’s nightlife very nicely attracting people from all over the region into Bournemouth’s nightlife scene. If you have a more discerning taste for your Bars and Clubs then you must take your time on this side of Bournemouth Town and winkle out the one or two places that put quality over quantity.
The more discerning customers in the Bournemouth Bar Scene and those looking for a slightly more refined night out in Bournemouth head for what is known locally as the West End. Here close to the sea and slightly annexed from the Hubbub of Old Christchurch Road lies the more refined side of Bournemouth.
The bars and restaurants are less numerous than in other parts of the Bournemouth Night Scene but high on quality and definitely worth a visit. Entry to these bars and clubs tends to be more strict but the experience inside is highly enjoyable and safer than the less fussy venues.
